Hi everyone! I hope you’ve all had a wonderful summer and continue to. I have a couple of exciting announcements!

Firstly… me and my family embarked on our first international trip; we are in Europe with some dear friends, visiting their family! Right now we are in Germany, in upper Bavaria. Tomorrow we’re heading to Switzerland – we’ve rented a house on Lago Maggiore, or Major Lake in English. Lago Maggiore is right on the border between Switzerland and Italy, so we’ll be spending some time in Italy too. Then back to Germany for a few more days, then we’re headed to Iceland for three days to finish up the trip! It’s been absolutely incredible so far and I can’t wait for all the adventures to come.

Second… Ahh! I’m so excited about this! So… it’s official… I have started writing my third book! You may have read the article about me in the Aspen Times a few weeks ago that talked about it, but for those who didn’t, it’s happening! Nyala Honey Book 3! Here’s a few answers before you ask the questions:

1. Is it a sequel? No, it’s not a sequel to any of my published works. But, I think it has the most potential to become a series out of any of my books, so that might happen; I’ll keep you posted!
2. When will it be out? I’m hoping it’ll be out by this time next year, but that’s a bit ambitious because I’m still very much writing the first draft. We’ll see!
3. What’s the genre? The genre is fiction, specifically thriller fantasy, a genre I might’ve made up. But it suits the story! It’ll be YA fiction like my other ones.
4. Where will it be available? Well, here’s my plan: I am going to query to agents. If I get an agent, that changes the game a ton. That’s never happened to me before, and if it does, I’ll keep you guys posted on that! But I’m planning that I won’t get one, because it’s a tough market and I haven’t had an agent in the past. So for the moment, I’m imagining the publishing process without an agent, and in that case, it’ll be available on Amazon just like my two published books!

So! I hope that answered a few FAQs I get asked about new books. I’m so excited to share this with you and I hope you’re excited too! It’s all good. Basically it was just about my front page article in the Aspen Times – read it here! It was super surreal to see myself on the front page and it’s made me so happy to have been approached and congratulated for this accomplishment. I couldn’t have done it without any of you; thank you so much!
