I wanted to do a quick post and share this cool illusion with you all.
It is called the Dress Illusion. About 10 years ago, someone took a picture of this dress (see attached photo) with a SUPER bright light behind it. Studies show that some brains can’t process the colors in the dress because of the light, so they make it up. Some people see it blue with black stripes, the actual colors. Other people see it gold with white stripes (or maybe white with gold stripes – I don’t know because I see it blue and black.) And some people see a mix!

Cool! Most of the people I’ve shown it to say white and gold. But I see it black and blue!
I’m trying to figure out if age has anything to do with it, or if you wear glasses, or what other possible factors? I will keep you all posted!

At first glance I saw gray and blue (with a hint of lavender blue). Grandpa Bill insists there is gold, so after another careful look, I still see gray and blue (with a hint of lavender blue) but no gold💕

The actual color of the dress is black and blue, but to some people it looks white and gold! It just depends who you are, and it probably won’t change no matter how much you look at it.
